Day 01: Arrival at Cochin – Cochin Sightseeing
On arrival at Cochin you will be received by our travel representative amid grand Indian welcome. Later get transfer to hotel. Check in and take rest. After lunch the tour proceeds with Cochin sightseeing.
Cochin attractions to explore are Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, Muttanchery Palace, Hill Palace Museum, & Bolgatti Island. However, without a visit to Marine drive the tour will almost be incomplete. Enjoy a boat cruise at Marine drive capturing sights of the naval base, harbor, & Mangalavanam Island. In the evening go for shopping jewelries, handicrafts, and spices. Overnight stay
Day 02: Cochin – Munnar (135 Km / Approximately 4 Hrs Drive)
On the 2nd day have breakfast and drive towards Munnar the "Kashmir of Southern India". The drive from Cochin to Munnar will be a fairy tale journey amidst picturesque landscape adorned with spice plantations, tea gardens, spectacular waterfalls, high hills, low flying clouds, and echoing valleys. Visit en-route, attractions of Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point. On arrival check-into your hotel at Munnar and proceed for local sightseeing. Overnight stay at Munnar resort
Day 03: Munnar Hill Station Sightseeing
On the 3rd day enjoy breathtaking attractions of Munnar after morning breakfast. The thrilling attractions to explore are Mattupetty Lake, Kundale Lake, Rajamalai National Park, Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam, & Blossom Garden. Munnar trip is incomplete without a visit to Tata Tea Museum, Anaimudi Peak, and spotting a Nilgiri Tahr (rare wild Goat) at Rajamalai National Park. Overnight stay at Munnar resort
Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady (130 Km / Approximately 3:30 Hrs Drive)
Enjoy breakfast and drive to Thekkady from Munnar. On arrival at Thekkady, check into your hotel and proceed to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy bird tour, elephant safari, tiger tracing in open jeep, and jungle trekking at Periyar Wildlife excursion. The most thrilling activity is to hop on a boat cruise at Lake Periyar, to discover the wonders of animal kingdom. In the evening get mesmerized with Kathakali dance and Kalaripayattu - the oldest martial art.
Day 05: Thekkady – Alleppey (145 Km / Approximately 3 Hrs Drive)
On the 5th day drive to the heart of backwaters Alleppey, the most unique adventure seeking spot of Kerala. Have breakfast and proceed to Alleppey and enjoy the scenic view as well as spice plantations en-route. On arrival at Alleppey check – into the traditional Kerala Houseboat; known as "Kettuvallam". The cruise is a romantic affair moving slowly amidst the enchanting sceneries of fishing villages, spice plantations, wildlife sanctuary, bird reserve, & coconut grooves. The attractions include Kuttanad, R – Block, paddy fields, islands, village tour, watching playful elephants at the banks of river, and overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 06: Alleppey - Cochin (54 Km / Approximately 1.5 Hrs Drive)
On the 6th day have breakfast and start slowly on houseboat cruise to reach towards the end of 5 nights & 6 days, Kerala tour. On arrival at the banks, our travel representative will assist you to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin, get transferred to airport or railway station.
